New Digital Temperature and Humidity Meter TH801 Great tool to adjust your humidifier or dehumidifier! Avoid damp rooms that promote mold! Most experts recommend an indoors air humidity level between 40% and 60% as most comfortable. If the air is too dry it can strain the respiratory tract, while high humidity levels promote the growth of mold and germs in the walls. This meter will allow you to check the humidity level and temperature quickly. Four openings at the back of the meter allow for good air circulation and fast readings. Place the meter in a room and after 4-8 minutes it will give you a stable reading of the current conditions. You can use the meter to detect damp basements or attics, which might indicate a water intrusion. You can also use the readings to adjust humidifiers, dehumidifiers and air conditioners, making sure your house is at a comfortable level. This is a lovely Red Colored Wood Combo Station with a Galileo Thermometer along with a Clock, a Barometer and a Hygrometer all together in one wooden package. Standing 12 inches tall and 5 inches wide, on the left side are the three dials and on the right is the glass tube with the 5 thermometer containers which rise and fall due to the temperature around them. They range in temperature from 54 degrees to 80 degrees F. As the temperature rises around them, the balls drop to the bottom of the enclosed case. Which ball is on the bottom of the TOP area is what the temperature is. A wonderful and unique piece of glass art that is fully functional.
