I looked at many different models...and this one is the best for what I was looking for, regarding features and cost.br /br /When you are camping, it's nice to have an alarm clock to wake you up...if not you sleep in too late and miss all the action in the morning for photography (or hunting, fishing, etc.).br /br /It's also nice when you wake up and you think to yourself, good god it's COLD! You can just look at the display and see exactly how cold it was..."I woke up and it was 20 degrees out"!br /br /It seems easy to use and I like the display.br /br /The only negative...it took over a month to get this shipped to my father...so order this with plenty of time to spare!!!

Bought three of them, all three of them had different humidities, all in the same room set side by side. So I don't know how accurate they were. It appears to me they weren't. The temperature was all the same, so I would say the temperature was right on. But I wouldn't trust humidity part of it. I do like the display, it's easy to read. Don't know if I'd recommend this because of the difference in humidity. Oh, and the humidity was anywhere between seven and 10 percent of a difference.

The humidity rate is very accurate! Before we bought the device We could not even imagine that in our appartment the humidity was so low. Now we bought a humidifier and feel much more comfortable at home. I would recomend this device to everyone who cares about inside humidity.
