After dealing with the little dial hygrometers and a GE unit that was wildly inaccurate, finding this one has been a blessing. I have 2 grand pianos in my care and so I bought two, one for my home piano and one for my Fellowship. They give me an accurate reading at a glance. They also have a magnet built in so that I can mount it for easy viewing. A nice additional feature.br /br /br /br /

I had an analog hygrometer that came with my humidor, this is far more accurate. I placed it with another digital hygrometer (different vendor) and they both read the same so I'm assuming that its accurate.
Small and potentially inaccurate - Basil's Buddy - Southern Wisconsin, USA
This item is much smaller than I expected (approx 1.75" X 2.75") which makes it difficult to put on a table/shelf rather than mounting it on a wall(apparently what it was designed for based on the sticker on the back.) I'm also not sure about the accuracy of the hygrometer since it seems to register several percentage points above or below other hygrometers placed right beside it. (Hrd to know which one is right). Would not buy this product again.
